Well, it was a good week and it was a bad week. The good...I lost 2.6 lbs this week! The bad...I didn't work out and I was sick. Still waiting on an answer to the WW question. One day I think yes and the next, I'm not sure. I also decided to add a second ticker. The top one if for my short-term goal and the bottom one is for the long-term, ultimate, dream goal! So, for now I'm just moving forward.

1/2/11
2011, what will this next year bring? Hopefully it will bring me closer to being a "new me". This past year has had a lot of ups and downs (figuratively and literally!). I am still not certain about the WW thing. I am praying about it as I don't want to do something and fail. I am starting my ticker over beginning today to have a starting point for this year. I am still going to have it set for short (or long short) goals instead of the whole thing (because that's just too overwhelming!). I'm not making any specific resolutions, just making goals.

Ugh! I knew this week would be bad with Christmas the day before my weigh in day. And...I was right. I gained 4.2 lbs this week. I didn't work out except for riding my bike one day and walking all over Portland and the zoo another. Whatever...

Well, it turned out to be a better week than I had anticipated. I worked out (officially) 4 days. Two on the treadmill and two on the elliptical, then we went to Portland for a couple of days and walked and walked and walked, all over the city. I ended up losing .6 this week which made me pretty happy. This next week should be interesting with two Christmases and just general "bad" food around. I'm even more leaning toward WW online in January...

I WORKED OUT SIX DAYS THIS WEEK!!!! I did three days on the treadmill and three on the elliptical and even rode my bike one day (when it wasn't raining!). I was a little unsure of weighing Sunday morning because we went to a buffet dinner for the National Guard on Saturday night but surprisingly I actually lost .8 lb. Not sure when I'm going to weigh this next week because we're going away Friday-Sunday so I may just do it Monday morning. Still contemplating doing WW online in January, we'll see...

I don't know why I even make plans sometimes! The week started out great, I did the treadmill on Monday and the elliptical on Tuesday. Then...Wednesday morning I woke up with a sore throat, headache, the works and pretty much stayed in bed for two days. Friday and Saturday I actually got up and around but felt too weak to work out. So, this week I lost .4 lbs. Next Saturday is my husband's "formal" Christmas dinner for his Guard unit. I had hoped to lose some weight before then but I do have my dress and it fits and I feel comfortable in it so I'm not going to stress about it! Now to get through a birthday, Christmas, New Years.........

Not a good week, at all. I came home from Texas on Monday evening and a family issue came up that caused me to be very stressed and pretty depressed. That resulted in me pretty much sitting around, not working out, eating whatever (with Thanksgiving thrown in the middle of it) and generally just feeling yuck. So, I gained 1.6 lbs this week, blech...
