11/29

Well, it's the end of another month! They just seem to fly by (which is a good thing right now)! This has been an interesting week, to say the least. Last Sunday I somehow injured my Achilles tendon in my right foot. Sunday and pretty much Monday I could barely walk so, needless to say, not much working out went on this week! I did do strength training two days, got on the elliptical one day and spent almost a whole day raking leaves (oh my aching shoulders!). I was VERY discouraged to have gained 2 1/2 lbs from Thursday am to Friday am. I mean, really, how did I gain that much when I ate very moderately at Thanksgiving and had like hardly any dessert? Whatever!! So, as of this am I weigh 1 lb more than last Sunday, so incredibly frustrating!!! But, I'm still not giving up so...on I go! Less than three weeks to go til he's home!!

11/22

Wow, only one more week and November will be over! This week has been pretty good. Lost 1/2 lb since last week. Not great but the right direction. Worked out two days on the elliptical, two days on the treadmill (increased to level three on the intervals) and did strength training three days. This week my goals are to make it through Thanksgiving without gaining any weight and working out five days.

11/15

Four weeks!! I'm excited and nervous! Excited for obvious reasons and nervous because I so wanted there to be a noticable difference in how I look. Maybe there will be to him, I have lost 17 lbs since he left, it's just been so up and down for the past several months I can't see the difference anymore.
This week I am the same as last week. Went up and down and ended up the same. It is so frustrating!!! I did work out 5 days this week, Elliptical 3 and Treadmill 2. Friday the Elliptical said that I burned 400 calories in 20 minutes! So, to celebrate we went to Wendy's. I've got to get my mind back into it! Here we go, another week underway!

11/8

5 weeks to go! I worked out 4 days this week. Elliptical twice and treadmill twice. I had planned to do more but it didn't happen...maybe this week. Lost 1/2 lb this week. At this rate I may get to my goal weight by the time I die! I'm trying to just stay in a positive frame of mind for another week. I know that if I let myself start thinking that it's hopeless that I will start on that downward spiral again and I don't want that to happen! I flirt with the idea of tracking calories but just the thought of it makes me want to scream! But, it may be what it takes to get out of this rut. Anyway, I'm going to concentrate on eating good food and continuing to work out 4-5 days this week at least.

11/1

November! Another month gone by and the countdown til Kelly's leave is down to 6 weeks! I can lose like 50 lbs in 6 weeks, right? Just kidding! I am frustrated with myself for not having lost more but am trying to focus on the fact that I have kept off what I have lost so far (except for the couple of lbs up and down). I weight 1 lb more that I did last week. Worked out 1 pitiful day this week. A new month, a new goal! The wii lost it's mind yesterday morning and told me that I had lost 4 lbs overnight! If only!! So this morning it had regained it's facualties and I gained 4 lbs, so I am back to "normal". Anyway, here's hoping for a good week!
