Well, it's the last week of July...yeah, it's the last week of July. This past week I have not worked out and blah, blah, blah... Wow, I think I might need an attitude change! My pulled hamstring is feeling a little better but I still can't straighten out my leg when I have it raised. Actually I can straighten it, I just can't lean over it if that makes any sense. This week I gained 1.8 lbs. So, this week I am going to set a goal to work out at least 4 days but I would really like to do 6, so, we shall's definately a journey.

Well, my ticker has moved backward this week (I knew I used a turtle for a reason!). Pretty much the same old thing, didn't work out (except yard work), gained 1.6 lbs (really love my new scale and it's accuracy) and eating was pretty hit and miss. This week I am again attempting to work out and eat better. We leave to go camping in three weeks and I would really like to fit better into some of my clothes! I was trying on several things in my closet yesterday and realized that if I just lost like 10 pounds I would have a lot more to wear! Hopefully that will be incentive to do better, time will tell (literally).

This was a good week. I didn't work out, didn't really worry too much about what I ate and just enjoyed the time to spend with my daughter, grandson and son-in-law. I really want to lose this weight but I refuse to let it consume me and rob me of living life.
I used my new scale this week and will start from today using it. I've also made a new ticker. I decided to divide my goals into four parts so it's not so daunting which means that my first goal is 30 lbs.
I'm going to try to work out some this week and I realize that I'm kind of rambling so I guess that's all for now...

Happy Independence Day! This has been a wild week, Nick, Britt and Holden are here visiting and we are busy trying to enjoy Kelly's last week of leave before he goes back to work. I actually worked out on the ellipitical twice this week! Not sure about the weight because I bought a new scale and sadly, it weighs about 6 lbs more than the old one :( Not sure what I will do this week exercise wise, I'm just putting one foot in front of the other for now.
