4/18/10
Well, April is half over already and Kelly comes home in three days! This week has been ok. I worked out three days (half what I had hoped). Did the elliptical two days and the treadmill one. I've kind of put P90X on the back burner for now. I think I need to focus more on cardio so I can lose more weight and then maybe do it when school gets out. Lost one pound this week, still four up from my lowest point. I am again aiming to work out six days this week but it's going to be a huge transitional week with Kelly coming home so who knows!

Blah, blah, blah...new week, same story. Didn't work out this week at all, ate whatever, weight stayed the same. Hopefully the fact that Kelly is coming home sometime in the next two weeks will motivate me. That and the fact that we are going on vacation in 5 weeks and taking a kayaking class in 4 weeks! We'll see...

Happy Easter! It's been a challenging week as far as diet and exercise go. I haven't worked out for a couple weeks. I'm having a hard time getting back into it. I did lose 1 pound this week but I'm still 4 pounds up from my lowest weight. I found a website to keep track of calories burned and consumed and I'm going to try it this week. According to the websites calculations it should take me until August 2011 to reach my goal. So, I'm going to attempt to do better this week.

3/28/10
This week has been a challenge but I kind of knew it would be. It's Spring Break and I've only worked out twice, and we've been eating not great. I gained 1 lb and I have to say that I'm surprised that that is all. This week I'm going to try harder to work out every day and eat better (don't I say that every week?!). Only 3 weeks till Kelly comes home!

3/21/10
This week has been just blah. I chose sleep over working out most mornings. Tried out Zumba, it's really hard to get all the moves worked out. Hopefully with a little more practice I'll get it but I'm not the most coordinated person in the world! Gained a pound. I'm sure it didn't have anything to do with the Chocolate Chip Cookies one of the kids made or the cake that another one made (sarcasm!). On to another week. This week I am going to really work on working out every day. It's Spring Break and my grandson will be here so we'll see how it works out!

3/14/10
This week has been ok. Lost 1 pound, worked out to P90X five days. Went out for Chloey and Shelby's birthday and had cupcakes and ice cream cake. Kelly comes home in five weeks! Ordered the Zumba workout and I'm going to try to do it three days this week along with P90X.

So, I totally forgot to post this on Sunday. Maybe I just didn't want to see it. I gained a pound this week. I did p90x all week so I'm thinking that it's just muscle because my pants feel a little looser. It's still frustrating though to not see the numbers on the scale go down, especially after watching Biggest Loser and seeing how much they lose every week. Small steps...
