3/7/10
So, I totally forgot to post this on Sunday. Maybe I just didn't want to see it. I gained a pound this week. I did p90x all week so I'm thinking that it's just muscle because my pants feel a little looser. It's still frustrating though to not see the numbers on the scale go down, especially after watching Biggest Loser and seeing how much they lose every week. Small steps...

2/28/10
Ok, seriously, where has February gone?! So, here it is the last day of the month and I am still TRYING to lose some weight, any weight. It is so frustrating to see the scale just move down a couple of pounds, then up, then down, etc and to read about people losing large amounts. What is wrong with me? Enough with the pity party, this week I have continued P90X. I switched to the lean version so I will hopefully see some weight loss since it is more cardio. I have to say, except for getting up at 4:30, I am really enjoying it. I was so nervous to start it but it is really fun! This week I also did intervals on the treadmill for 30 minutes once. I'm going to try to do that at least three days a week. Oh, and I did lose 1/2 pound this week.

2/21/10
Well, week one of p90X completed! It isn't easy, I hate getting up at 4:30am and my body is sore but I feel great! I did the regular routine this week and had gained a few pounds so I was feeling discouraged. I went on their website and after reading some posts from other users I decided to switch to the "lean" version of the program. It includes more cardio so hopefully I can get rid of this fat and build muscle. So, this week I actually ended up 1/2 lb up from last week but I'm excited to see what switching to the "lean" will do. I'm also thinking about using my old WW points eating program, maybe...

2/14/10
Happy Valentine's Day!! What a crazy week this has been! Tuesday I went to the cardiologist and had an ECHO/stress test. The end result is that my heart beats irregularly at times when the blood is leaving my heart going to my lungs. According to the doctor, this is not serious, can be medicated (but not necessary) and is not dangerous. So, I have been cleared to exercise now! Tomorrow I start P90X and I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Hopefully I won't be too sore but I probably will! This week I gained 1/2 lb. Whatever, we'll see what happens doing the P90X!

2/7/10
Well, so much for getting back on track. I worked out on the elliptical on Monday and was feeling really good...until I went to my appointment with the cardiologist. He said that the results of my Holter monitor showed that I was having PVCs and PACs which are abnormal heartbeats in the top and bottom heart chambers. He said that it may be nothing but I am scheduled for an ECHO/Stress test on Tuesday and he banned me from doing any working out until then. So, no working out this week! When I weighed this morning I was the same as last week. I'm glad I didn't gain but I'm getting really frustrated!!

1/31/10
Well, it's the last day of the month already! This week has been challenging. I have been feeling really depressed this week. I think it's a combination of the time of year, settling into Kelly being gone again, worrying about my appointment with the cardiologist tomorrow and not working out. I did finally work out on the elliptical on Friday and it felt really good. I was worried about my heart but didn't have any problems. I will be kind of glad to be able to ask the doctor tomorrow if there is any problem with working out so I don't worry so much. After (stupidly) buying peanut butter m&ms on Friday and having a big dinner and cake last night for my mom's birthday I gained 1 lb since last week. Onward!

1/24
Another week, more stuff going on. I had big plans to work out 5 days this week...until I went to the doctor with heart palpitations and had to wear a monitor for 24 hours. To be honest, I was kind of afraid to work out but it's now Sunday and I haven't heard anything from the doctor so I guess it's safe to assume that I'm not going to die of a heart attack imminently (hopefully)! So, because I didn't get a phone call telling me not to, I plan to try to work out 5 days this week. The doctor did give me some positive news, telling me that I am really healthy. My blood pressure is low, cholesterol is normal, the only issue is my weight. This week I lost 1 lb, still 1.5 from being back to my lowest point.
